The mission of the Washington County Community Action Council is to respectfully assist all individuals in economic need within our community in achieving and maintaining self-sufficiency.

Our Services

Attention all Washington County residents 60 years of age or older receiving Energy Assistance OR residents receiving SNAP benefits.

Current Energy Assistance clients:

Please do not fill out a new application- we ask that you wait til you receive your OHEP redetermination letter by mail. Once you receive the redetermination letter you may:

  • Drop it off to our offices at 117 Summit Ave, Hagerstown MD, 21740

 

  • Mail it to our office: Washington County Community Action Council 117 Summit Ave, Hagerstown MD, 21740. Attention Energy

 

  • Email a scanned copy or photos of the letter to washingtoncountyohep@wccac.org


SNAP Recipients:

If you are a current SNAP recipient or have applied for SNAP benefits your Energy Assistance application will process automatically. If we need any further information, we will contact you.

This information is in accordance with the State of Maryland Categorical Eligibility.
